Helping founders find community and connections
A semester-long series, addressing societal impacts of translational research. Over the course of 8-weeks, participants engage in hands-on, interactive workshops and lectures on multiple facets of research strategy, equitable methods, researcher roles and identity, team management, entrepreneurship, diverse career paths, social change, and more.
Provides heuristic learning opportunities for the students from the life-sciences field and will impart the scientific, regulatory, business and communication abilities required to work effectively in academic, private, public, and healthcare industry sectors.

Speakers will examine real-world uses of translational research and examine current case studies. These seminars highlight change-makers engaged in public scholarship, community-based research, and TEC for societal benefit.

To be eligible for this funding opportunity, a technology must be an idea or invention based on a participating institution’s intellectual property and should not be licensed/optioned to a company.
