Accepts up to 10 participants who are 51%+ underrepresented business owners. Graduates may access the EmPOWER Loan Program for up to $10K in capital through LEDC CDFI and Maryland's DHCD.
An SBA-funded program offering workshops, panel discussions, and technical assistance to women entrepreneurs across the 6-county Baltimore metro area (Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Howard, Frederick, Carroll, and Harford counties). Topics include business planning, finance, marketing, and operations. Hosted at Morgan State University. Part of the national network of SBA Women's Business Centers.

Participants must complete 40+ customer discovery interviews. Teams receive a $2,880 grant upon successful completion. Offered quarterly (January, April, July, October). Over 200 JHU teams have participated. JHU serves as a Mid-Atlantic regional hub alongside the University of Maryland.
